Sensational 6 Hotels in Thailand

Searching for that amazingly beautiful/ stylish/ comfortable hotel that makes you look extra sexy isn’t an easy task. I infact start looking for hotels in different places to decide where I want to go.

Where you sleep makes or breaks your vacation.

Here are the six hotels that I absolutely loved in Thailand, we were lucky to stay in two of these actually – Villa Zolitude and Tenface. To get an idea of where to start is key. Here are a few websites to start with: Tablet Hotels, Mr&Mrs Smith, Design Hotels, NYTimes Travel, and Archives of past episodes in Travel Channel

1. Aleenta

Using beachfront locations in Hua Hin and Greater Phuket (Phang Nga) , this chain of hotel is nothing about exclusivity.

Aleenta Resort and Spa Hua Hin – Pranburi is a charming boutique resort, conveniently locates just 3 hours south of Bangkok and has 20 ocean front sea view suites and rooms, most with private pool.

Aleenta Resort and Spa Phuket – Phangnga is a stunning retreat situated on the pristine white sandy Natai Beach, just 20 minutes north of Phuket International Airport with several national parks nearby.  The resort consists of 1-2-3 bedroom luxuriously appointed suites, residences, and villas, all with private pool, full sea view, and dedicated staffs to ensure that all our guests’ whims are taken care of.

2. Villa Zolitude, Phuket

Experience Luxury… Living in a secluded hillside village

In a unique marriage with Phuket’s tropical environment, 45 luxury Phuket pool villas have been carefully set amongst 15 acres of natural hillside rainforest. Wonderful design, stunning architecture, original Mediterranean art and stylish décor are combined with the very best facilities to spoil you in luxurious enjoyment.

We stayed here and I cannot stress how beautiful the place and the staff are. We were treated like royalty. The villas are situated on a hill and there are golf carts that pick and drop you to the restaurant, parking lot, etc. And what amazed us was that the staff pretty much anticipated our needs and worked upon it everytime. They even opened the Kitchen exclusively for us when they found out that we hadn’t had dinner and it was a 3-course sumptuous meal!

The hotel is not beachfront, but the endless views of the mountains, ocean and the private pool in your villa totally redeems it.

3. Library, Koh Samui

“If you can finish one book while staying with us, we think this is more than an accomplishment of our team.”

The Library aims to share happiness in another angle of view on how to spend valuable time when vacation. Library is located on the Chaweng Beach which is officially the hot spot on Koh Samui, stretching 7km long with soft white sand, and surrounded by the clear blue waters.

4. X2 Resorts

Soulful.. tranquility; that provides sensual pleasures and thoughtfulness.
Freedom.. of space, process and rules; allowing guests to set their own agenda.
Simplicity.. in form and service; completely understated and unfussy.

X2 (pronounced Cross – Two) is a Designer Resort chain, starting with resorts in Kui Buri (South of Hua Hin) and Koh Samui.

5. Ten Face, Bangkok

Inspired by Tosakan, the ten-faced giant from the epic Ramayana, TENFACE embodies a fusion of passion and wit. With ten pairs of eyes, he saw beyond the norm. With ten faces, he consumed extensive knowledge, creating unique perspectives on life.”

Ten Face is luxury that is comfortable, helpful and easy on our pockets. Starting from their beautiful website, free tuk-tuk service, an Ipod Nano loaded with video podcasts that acted as our tour guide to a free sim card to use, it was impeccable.

6. Ma Du Zi

Classy-meets-sexy sanctuary

Part luxurious private home, part gentlemen’s club, Ma Du Zi Hotel is swanky, sexy and sophisticated. Located in the lively area of Sukhumvit’s bar-fuelled shopping hub.
