Considered as one of the best restaurants in Venice, the Michelin-starred Da Fiore is a memorable Venetian dining experience. Set within an elegant, understated and cosy setting overlooking a quiet canal in Venice’s San Polo district, Maurizio Martin (the maitre’d) and his wife Mara (the chef) will take you on a culinary journey of some of Venice’s finest local flavours. Sourcing all of their ingredients locally, fresh seafood and raw fish feature heavily throughout the menu, where classic Venetian dishes are reworked in dishes such as the beautifully succulent tagliata di tonno (tuna steak), flawless pasta and risotto courses, and perfectly roasted meats and seafood. The best seat in the house is the table next to the window overlooking the canal (the only one we’re sad to say), which tends to book out weeks in advance.
