Chessboxing Apartment, Berlin


Chess Boxing is a hybrid sport which combines chess with boxing through alternating rounds, and is usually played by people who wish to challenge their mettle both mentally and physically at the same time.

The Chessboxing Apartment is a theme apartment designed by Tamara Pallach and chessboxing inventor, Lepe Rubingh, and is situated in the middle of Berlin, and caters mostly to chessboxers from all over the world who come and stay here to prepare themselves for the tournaments.

It is open to the public and has an interesting selection of beds named after famous players including: Muhammad Ali, Bobby Fischer, Mike Tyson, Miyamoto Musashi and Anantoly Karpov.
