Barceló market

Right in the heart of Madrid’s central zone, in Plaza del Arquitecto Ribera, is a new age recyclable complex called the Barceló market – designed to promote a new way of interacting with its urban surroundings.

Taking from the traditional market in public squares, and considering that different elements come together from differing scale and function, the complex is designed to integrate six pentagonal structures with differing heights and sizes to accommodate the varying needs on display.
