Acido Dorado – Joshua Tree National Park

Is this a mirage? No, you’re not seeing things; this trippy house dripping in metallic gold in the depth of the Californian desert is as real as you or me.
Los Angeles based architect Robert Stone created the outstanding Acido Dorado on a vacant property in the middle of Joshua Tree, on a secluded slice of land that has to be seen to be believed. The house is old-fashioned luxury meets futuristic fantasy to create a golden desert oasis that will be appreciated by lovers of fine architecture and novices alike.
